Prints from Mountain West Photography are offered using gallery quality materials providing exceptional results.  These include Fine Art Traditional paper Giclée prints, High Definition Chromalux die infused metal prints, and Lumachrome Acrylic prints.  Each are offered with a selection of floating mounts or high-quality metal or solid wood frames.  Recommended sizing has been added to each print. Classic Series: Fine Art Traditional Printing Satin Prints (Giclée) Prints are produced using a state ‐of‐the‐art twelve ink archival Canon Lucia EX 12 color pigment ink printer; these pigment inks combine the gloss of dye ink with the vivid colors and weather resistance of pigment ink. With this printing technology, colors are truer to image files than with chemical prints and can achieve 1200 dpi resolution with ink drop sizes as small as 4 Pico liters 

• Archival Grade: greater than a 115 year archival rating by the Wilhelm Institute.  
• Prints can be produced up to 48”x96” limitation for a single piece. 
• Satin Paper Prints:  Acid‐free premium‐quality photo paper is slightly textured and maintains a satin (or luster) surface.  The print surface doesn’t show fingerprints, reflect glare like glossy papers, and provides greater color accuracy. It has excellent ink retention properties yielding an exceptionally large color gamut for bright, realistically saturated colors and accurate skin tones.

Vivid Series: High-Definition Metal Prints HD Metal Prints represent an amazing art medium for preserving photos by infusing Epson 12 color sublimation dyes and a ChromaLux finish directly onto coated aluminum sheets.  Your images will take on a magical luminescence.  The colors are vibrant and detail and resolution are beautiful. HD Metal Prints come ready to hang with a Metal Inset Frame designed to look great while adding durability.

•  HD Metal prints are very light and easy to hang.  Gallery mount prints come with an aluminum float mount with a wire hanger and mounting hooks.  Large prints (60”x48”) are typically under 15 lbs.  One hook is recommended for smaller prints, two for larger images.     

 Care & Cleaning 

• Do not put metal prints face down on a hard surface as you may scratch it. It is scratch-resistant, not scratch-proof.
  
• Clean metal prints by gently wiping, using a soft dry cloth or microfiber. Avoid using paper towels. You may use a soft cloth moistened with water, glass cleaner, or rubbing alcohol. 
  

 Environment 

•  Metal prints using digital print technology (dye sublimation), are highly pigmented, durable, and have exceptional clarity and detail. Metal prints are highly resistant to water, humidity, and scratching. Wilhelm Imaging Research (WIR) Display Permanence Ratings have determined that the longevity of metal prints are more than three times higher than Kodak Endura silver-halide prints that have been framed under glass. 
•  Avoid exposing your metal print photograph to direct sunlight. The ideal temperature for storing your metal print is 85°F / 30°C or cooler. 

•  If you need to repack your artwork, avoid putting plastic material against the face of the metal print. Wrap in paper first before using plastic wrap.
